IL BARETTO RIYADH UNVEILS COMFORTING NEW WINTER MENU FILLED WITH ITALIAN SEASONAL DELIGHTS

The sumptuous new menu brings the winter culinary traditions of Italy to the Kingdom with the freshest produce and seasonal ingredients

Reflecting the changing of the seasons and bringing a taster of Italian winter traditions to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Il Baretto Riyadh has unveiled its new winter menu. Reflecting the brand’s passion and ethos for seasonal ingredients and flavours, the new menu features culinary classics from across Italy’s 20 regions, taking diners to Lombardy, Tuscany and beyond.

From 21st December, diners will relish in a delightfully light Kale Salad with festive clementine, shallot and roasted cashew nut and ginger dressing, and the Quinoa Salad with raisins, mint and orange dressing - infusing a touch of Arabian flavours. New pasta dishes include the decadent Ravioli di Ossobuco, a Milanese classic loved in the winter season with tender veal shank, and Caserecce al Ragu d'Anatra (a comforting ragu made with fragrant orange duck).

For mains, diners will delight in Filetto di Branzino con Carciofi, Olive e Pomodorini (pan-fried seabass with artichokes, black olives and semi-dried tomatoes), and Petto d’anatra all’Arancia: a Florentine classic with orange duck breast with braised endive. Il Baretto is renowned for using the Josper Grill to create deep, smokey flavours, and the new menu features Ossobuco alla Milanese, offering an indulgent take on the Milanese classic with saffron risotto, and Costolette di Agnello (grilled lamb chop with zingy chimichurri sauce).

Il Barretto’s new winter menu is the brainchild of head chef Alex Simone, who showcases his commitment to seasonal and regional produce with regularly changing menus. Simone’s passion for fresh flavours and produce drives three menu changes yearly across its Riyadh and London restaurants. 

Il Baretto’s enticing new dishes are elevated with beverages from the restaurant’s one-of-a-kind Zero Bar – delivering a mixologist-inspired drinking experience without alcohol. Beverages at Il Baretto Riyadh are handcrafted without sugars and artificial flavours, championing local and Italian flavours and making for a clean drinking experience.
