Two Jordanian and Bahraini medical teams succeeded in conducting two kidney transplant operations at the Salmaniya Medical Complex in Manama, which were successful.
The two teams transported one of the young thirties to her 20-year-old brother to save his life after a severe renal failure, while they moved one of his 50-year-old father's kidneys to his 22-year-old son to give him a chance for normal life and continued activity.
Head of the Department of Nephrology Dr. Ali Al-Aradi and Head of the Department of Surgery Dr. Rani Al-Agha at the Salmaniya Complex thanked the Jordanian medical team for its cooperation and efforts in the success of these operations and training of the medical teams in Salmaniya.
The team visits Bahrain as part of the Visiting Doctor program to conduct accurate operations and develop the competencies of the Bahraini medical teams.
