Vuclip, a PCCW Media company and the leading premium video-on-demand service for emerging markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sherif Dahan as Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This move comes ahead of the anticipated launch of Viu, Vuclip’s new video-streaming service, in the region.
In his new role, Sherif will oversee the operations and strategic direction for the new service in the region. With more than nineteen years of experience in the digital media and solutions industry, he will be responsible for driving consumer adoption, engagement and monetization for the Viu brand in the region through strategic partnerships, service innovation and consumer insights. Prior to joining Vuclip, Sherif was instrumental in establishing the first digital gamification agency in the Middle East and Africa region. He was also the Managing Director for MSN Arabia for the Middle East and North Africa, and helmed the Arabian Gulf operations for LINKdotNET.
