Umm Al Qura for Development & Construction Launches Operational Phase to Prepare Masar Destination to Welcome Makkah’s Visitors

Umm Al Qura for Development & Construction Company, the owner, developer, and operator of Masar Destination, has announced the launch of the destination’s initial operational phase, including the pilot opening of selected services and features.

This step forms part of the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance mobility and accessibility in the heart of Makkah, while preparing the destination to welcome increasing numbers of visitors. As part of this pilot phase, the company has introduced the “Visit” package through its Masar application, offering new tools designed to support smoother access to the central area.

The initiative reflects Umm Al Qura for Development & Construction’s broader strategy to strengthen Makkah’s position as a global destination that welcomes millions of visitors each year, while introducing innovative solutions that improve connectivity and enhance the quality of services available to visitors and pilgrims.

The “Visit” package has been developed to improve the overall visitor experience and support more efficient traffic flow by facilitating movement and enabling easier access to and from the Holy Mosque. By integrating digital tools with mobility solutions, the package aims to provide visitors with a more seamless, comfortable and efficient journey within the central area.
