The other nominees in the said category include officials from Dubai Municipality, and Dubai Electricity and Water Authority.
On receiving the award, Hamdani noted: “I am truly honoured to be named as the CSR Professional of the Year by a highly reputable body. Our team believes that that every contribution, however small, can make a great impact if done collectively and with this, we will fortify our CSR efforts and engage our community. We aim to reach out to more people and continue to inspire companies, especially in the field of hospitality and tourism to join our causes.”
In 2017, Ramada Ajman also bagged the Waste Management Award at Gulf Sustainability and CSR Awards for its efficient and effective waste management scheme.
