Private sector employs 11.6M workers in August: NLO

The total number of workers in the Saudi private sector reached 11.57 million in August 2024, the National Labor Observatory (NLO) said.

The number of nationals employed in the private sector totaled 2.37 million, of whom 1.4 million are males, and 972,700 are females.
 

Meanwhile, 9.2 million expats are employed in the private sector.

The NLO added that 37,000 Saudis joined the private sector for the first time in August.
