PCFC gears up for GITEX 2016

The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) is speeding up preparations for the GITEX technology week 2016 which will take place on 16-20 October at Dubai World Trade Center. PCFC will feature a joint exhibition platform bringing together all of its affiliated entities including Dubai Customs, DP World, Dubai Trade, Trakhess, Jafza, and Dubai Maritime City Authority. 

Under the pavilion of Dubai Smart Government (DSG) Establishment, the PCFC’s unified stand at this year’s Gitex is set to offer both customers and partners a whole new experience that is far beyond expectations. 

“The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation has made a quantum leap towards enabling Dubai to become the world’s smartest and happiest city by integrating cutting-edge smart services in all our sectors of business to create added value for our stakeholders and ensure their happiness, in line with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,” said Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, chairman of PCFC.

“The wide array of new smart services and initiatives that PCFC will be launching at the upcoming Gitex are geared at offering our customers and the community real-life experience of Dubai as a smart city,  as we continue to boost the government’s strategy to transform Dubai into the most preferred place to live, work and trade,” added Bin Sulayem.       

Everything is being set ready to assure the public and visitors of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation stand an enriching Gitex experience. The PCFC’s higher committee for Gitex participation has held a coordination meeting with the organizer of DSG pavilion in order to finalize preparations and address the requirements for PCFC’s joint stand at this year’s Gitex.
