New luxury townhouse community in Dubai Sports City ready for handover to new owners

Dubai Sports City has today announced that the latest luxury villa complex Fortuna village is now ready to be handed over to their new owners, allowing more families to take advantage of the state-of-the-art sporting facilities and amenities in the expanding lifestyle-community.

Fortuna Village, part of Dubai Sports City’s commitment to building landmark residential projects, will see 30 new 4-bedroom plus maid’s room villas added to the golfing community, which navigates around the 18-hole Els Club Championship golf course.

Khalid Al Zarooni, President of Dubai Sports City, said: “Dubai Sports City are delighted to announce the handover phase of the Fortuna Village development and welcome our new residents.

“We continue to ensure we are delivering the same high standards to our community with the very best in luxury and comfort. Dubai Sports City strongly believes that for those moving into Fortuna Village in the near future will see a great change in their lifestyle and feel fulfilled and happy.

“There’s a vast amount of competition in the Dubai property market so it is testament to the draw of the quality homes here at Dubai Sports City, that Fortuna Village had already sold out ahead of its completion.”

Mr Guy Marc Armand Dominguez was the first person to receive keys to his property located in Fortuna Village. Mr Dominguez, who arrived with his daughter Sofia and son Jerry to collect the keys to their new property said: “As you can see the whole family is really excited about collecting our keys to our new property in Fortuna Village today. The location combined with the lifestyle in Dubai Sports City is perfect for our family. Our whole family already use the wonderful sporting and entertainment facilities on offer, including Spanish Soccer School and Fit Republik, and we are really looking forward to being one of the first residents of the Fortuna, Dubai Sports City, Community.”

Khalid Al Zarooni also added: “Shortly we will be launching the Marbella Villa project which will see 96 townhouses added to the community.  Those interested will be able to register their interest for these spectacular villas shortly.” This will be the final Villa project at Dubai Sports City.

Project designers aimed to maximise living space, specification of fittings and luxury of finish to make the townhouses stand out from other developments. Based on a Spanish architectural style, the entire community will be landscaped with lush green areas, ensuring homes are afforded privacy and a degree of serenity.

In order to reduce environmental impact, stringent green compliance initiatives are being followed at every stage of construction, governing use of energy, water, air, materials, and environmental quality. Paints are fully non-toxic and have reflective properties, while solar power has been made an integral part of the power generation system.

The new addition to Dubai Sports City’s quickly expanding residential capacity is testament to the commitment of the development to deliver what it set out to do in 2004; create a city where families and young professionals can live, work and play. With a vast array of world-class sporting facilities, schools, retail and F&B options, Dubai Sports City is becoming the heartbeat of Dubai.

Dubai Sports City is continuing its mission to offer thousands of new residents a new home over the next three years and is set to launch two new developments in the coming months. The Canal area will welcome a new luxury apartment complex wrapping around the water’s edge, while Dubai Sports City will see its final luxury townhouse village complex.
