Il Baretto Riyadh supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Zahra Breast Cancer Association collaboration

The collaboration sees Il Baretto relaunch is Zahra dessert, donate proceeds to fund vital research and throw a special dinner

 

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Il Baretto Riyadh is proud to announce its activities to help raise vital funds and awareness for key local Saudi charities. 

 

Taking place in October each year, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a global campaign aiming to increase awareness, promote screening and raise funds for charities and research – all vital steps in combatting the disease. Il Baretto Riyadh is supporting with a limited-edition dessert and donations. 

 

Il Baretto’s beloved ‘Zahra’ dessert has returned to the menu, a light and moreish creation with white chocolate, a light vanilla mouse and a zingy citrus filling. Named after Riyadh’s Zahra Breast Cancer Association, the dessert not only maximizes awareness but also makes diners feel connected to the cause, with the Zahra dessert branded with the Zahra Breast Cancer Association logo.

 

Il Baretto will also be donating 15% of its proceeds to the Zahra Breast Cancer Association during the month of October. This support will help fund the local organization’s crucial work, which includes providing support, education, and specialized services to women battling the disease as well as those recuperating. The foundation also supports scientific breast cancer studies, making contributions even more impactful. 

 

Estée Lauder Companies and Zahra Association are hosting a dinner which will be held at Il Baretto on October 14th. Hosted by the founder of Zahra Association, HRH Princess Haifa Bint Faisal AlSaud, the intimate dinner will be attended by Zahra’s board members alongside breast cancer survivors, volunteers, and ambassadors, sharing love, strength and positivity. 

 

 

 

The dinner will also showcase Estée Lauder Companies' 2024 Breast Cancer Campaign "I Never Thought" which seeks to break down barriers surrounding the disease in the region as misinformation has led to many late-stage diagnoses. The Estée Lauder Companies aims to change this perception through its awareness campaigns, emphasizing that self-examination and early detection can effectively treat and manage breast cancer. The campaign illustrates that life continues after diagnosis with early detection offering hope for recovery and a renewed appreciation of life's beauty.

 

Breast Cancer Awareness Month runs throughout October at Il Baretto Riyadh.
