Ghassan Ahmed Al Sulaiman Furniture Trading Co. Ltd., IKEA Saudi Arabia, the leading home furnishings company in the region, has launched an exclusive Art Event in each of its three stores around the Kingdom, in Jeddah, Riyadh and Dhahran, displaying and selling a limited collection of artwork that has been developed by 12 street artists from around the world.

The collection, which has been selling out fast, aims to evoke emotions and stimulate the mind, with the purpose of encouraging viewers to understand that different styles and expressions of art will create a better everyday life for everyone who loves great art.

Saud Ghassan Al Sulaiman, CEO of IKEA Saudi Arabia, said: “We at IKEA believe that art belongs in people’s homes, and are using this opportunity to inspire our customers to understand the role modern art plays in enhancing people’s lives and beautifying their homes.”

“Street art has become a vital part of contemporary popular culture, and through this event we have introduced 12 unique art posters from artists from all corners of the globe in order to make art more accessible to the masses of people in our community,” added Al Sulaiman.

The launch of IKEA Saudi Arabia’s Art Event comes as part of IKEA’s global effort to celebrate street art and bring it to people’s homes. The company has fused street art with posters to make it more accessible and affordable for everyone. The event, which will be selling the limited collection to its customers across the Kingdom, will go on until the posters sell out.
