The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing launched the project of requirements development committees, as an initiative to involve the private sector in the stages of developing municipal policies and legislation.
The project aims to facilitate doing business, promote activities and sectors, as well as enable the private sector to achieve the goals of Vision 2030, Saudi Press Agency reported.
In addition, the project seeks to enhance beneficiaries’ satisfaction and increase their compliance rate, as well as unify efforts between the ministry and the private sector to address challenges and enhance its participation in the development of municipal requirements and legislation.
The project includes 14 sectoral committees and more than 50 subcommittees, which will facilitate doing business, improve the attractiveness of various activities and sectors. They will also open permanent and effective channels of communication with partners in the private sector to review and develop over 40 requirements.
