Saudi Arabia’s Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) said it contributed to supporting the employment of 288,000 male and female citizens to work in the private sector establishments during the first nine months of 2023.
This was through the fund's various programs, initiatives, and products.
Employment support grew by 3.5% compared to the same period last year, the fund said in a statement.
It added that 97,000 establishments benefited from the support programs, of which 89% are micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises operating in several vital sectors.
Turki Al-Jawini, Director General of Hadaf, announced that the fund provided SAR 6.9 billion for support programs in training, employment, and empowerment for private sector entities during the first three quarters of this year, Argaam earlier reported.
