Major developers from the UAE are set to redefine the face and future of Dubai with a number of high profile projects launched at Cityscape Global tomorrow (Tuesday 6 September).
The Middle East’s most prominent real estate exhibition, now in its 15th year and runs from 6-8 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre, has become firmly established as the springboard for major property launches in the UAE and beyond.
One of the biggest draws on the opening day is expected to be the Emaar Properties stand where The Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour will be unveiled. The developer’s new cloud-piercing project, designed by Spanish-Swiss architect Santiago Calatrava is located in the heart of the 6 square kilometre master-planned community set by the historic Dubai Creek.
Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Managing Director, Emaar Properties said: “We consider Cityscape Global to be the leading platform that highlights the remarkable growth and evolution of Dubai’s property sector. Through our participation, we reach out not only to investors but also to world-class partners, who work with us on our mega-developments that have transformed the emirate’s property scene.”
Visitors to Emaar’s stand will have an opportunity to learn more about the Tower’s impressive features, including The Pinnacle Room, opening to grand views of the sky, and VIP Observation Garden Decks designed to recreate the splendour of the ‘Hanging Gardens of Babylon,’ one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Al Matrooshi added: “We will also showcase our new projects that have been launched recently in Dubai Creek Harbour, Downtown Dubai, Dubai Hills Estate and Arabian Ranches, in addition to our international projects in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.”
Meanwhile, Dubai South, the developer of Dubai’s newest ‘city’ spanning 145 square kilometres and featuring Al Maktoum International Airport and the World Expo 2020 site, will launch two key projects from their Residential District at Cityscape Global – The Pulse and The Villages.
Ahmed Al Ansari, Acting CEO, Dubai South said: “Dubai South is no stranger to Cityscape, but this is the first time we are participating as master developers, unveiling our own real estate products that will be available for sale in October.”
In line with Dubai Plan 2021, Dubai South’s ambition is to reinvent the Emirate’s urban ecosystem by creating a city that is based primarily on the happiness and wellbeing of people.
Al Ansari added: “This entirely new and incomparable model of urban living puts people first, while celebrating nature and diverse populations. These come together to form a thriving and healthy community, offering all necessary amenities from a retail centre, a sports centre and a community centre to a school, gas station, hospital, mosque, nursery, mall and hotels, all within easy accessibility and a ten-minute walking radius.”
Tom Rhodes, Exhibition Director, believes that the 15th landmark anniversary of Cityscape Global will feature remarkable projects that will reimagine the Emirate’s landscape.
“Over the past 15 years Cityscape Global has witnessed a phenomenal development of the UAE property market and we are proud to have become the leading platform for key regional developers in the region, showcasing their iconic projects at the exhibition,” he said.
“This year we are expecting a large number of impressive announcements from both UAE and international exhibitors that will contribute a great deal to both Dubai Plan 2021 and the overall development of the UAE’s real estate market in the years to come.”
