Al Rawabi Dairy Company, the largest UAE-based dairy, by herd size and production capacities, welcomed His Excellency Dr Ali Mohamed Shein, President of Zanzibar to its headquarters in Dubai.
HE Abdulla Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of Rawabi Emirates Group with Vice Chairman Mr. Abdulla Ali Al Qubaisi and Dr. Ahmed Al-Tijani, CEO of Al Rawabi Dairy Company received the President and his delegation who are on their official government visit to the UAE.
The visit is part of the Zanzibar government’s research and development and cooperation with the UAE’s leading companies in the field of dairy production and fresh juices in the country.
"We are honored to host President Dr. Ali Mohammed Shein and his delegation. We look forward to consolidating our economic relations and developing investment opportunities as a leading national company in the local market," said Dr. Ahmed Al Tijani, CEO.
The delegation of government ministers, ambassadors and advisors toured the Rawabi farm, the plant and the factory and learnt about the technology and techniques that were used to provide a suitable environment in raising cows especially with the weather and the natural factors in the Emirate of Dubai.
"Al Rawabi Dairy Company is working on developing its local production line with a new product range that supports the health of all members of the community and enhances its competitive position,” explained Chairman Al Owais.
He also stressed the importance of cooperation and exchange of knowledge and experience between the two countries in line with the vision of the wise leadership of the state. This is also part of the company’s standing as a national institution and to support the national economy.
Al Rawabi Dairy Company has the largest cattle farm in the country, with 13,000 cow head breeds of the Friesian Holstein, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a factory with milk production of 295 tonnes per day. The healthy products produced by the company in its farm are in accordance with the standards of global livestock breeding.
