Dubai Courts and the Dubai Judicial Institute Strengthen Collaboration to Achieve Swift Justice in Line with the Vision of "Leadership and Judicial Excellence for a Global City"

His Excellency Professor Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director of Dubai Courts, convened with Her Excellency Judge Dr. Ibtisam Al Badawi, Director General of the Dubai Judicial Institute, in a significant meeting aimed at reinforcing collaboration between the two entities in developing the judicial system in Dubai and achieving swift justice. This meeting comes within the framework of Dubai Courts’ steadfast commitment to its ambitious vision of "Leadership and Judicial Excellence for a Global City", which aims to enhance judicial services in Dubai and strengthen their capacity to deliver justice in a transparent and efficient manner. The discussions included training and qualification programs for judicial assistants, aimed at enhancing their competencies and improving their performance to realize the goal of swift justice. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Judge Omar Miran, Deputy Director of Dubai Courts.

In this context, both parties emphasized the importance of ongoing cooperation in advancing judicial performance. They agreed that achieving swift justice begins with empowering judicial personnel and providing specialized training programs aligned with the highest international standards. The meeting addressed several key topics aimed at elevating the efficiency of Dubai’s judicial system, with a particular focus on the necessity of investing in the continuous training and development of judicial staff. Moreover, they explored ways to strengthen the partnership between Dubai Courts and the Dubai Judicial Institute, recognized as one of the leading institutions specialized in preparing legal and judicial professionals.

Within this framework, the importance of aligning training and qualification programs for judicial assistants with Dubai Courts’ new strategic plan was reaffirmed. This strategy is built on four primary pillars that reflect the court’s future vision: first, pioneering judicial performance that expedites case resolution; second, integrated judicial services ensuring access to justice for all segments of society; third, future-ready institutional capacities that embrace technological advancement and modern innovation; and finally, an advanced digital judicial ecosystem supporting the digital transformation of the judicial system to ensure rapid and efficient procedures.

His Excellency Professor Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi affirmed that the cooperation between Dubai Courts and the Dubai Judicial Institute constitutes a vital strategic step toward achieving swift justice and meeting the needs of the community. His Excellency pointed out that Dubai Courts is earnestly working to bolster its leading position in the field of judiciary by adopting innovative training programs that are in line with global judicial developments, thereby enhancing trust in Dubai’s judicial system both locally and internationally.
