Consumers can order delivery of goods through apps

The Ministry of Commerce has called on citizens and residents to use electronic applications for delivery of essential goods during the curfew period, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday quoting the ministry sources.

Exhorting consumers to stay at home as much as possible irrespective of the curfew period, the ministry said that customers can order all food items and consumer goods they need through these apps.

Meanwhile, in order to ensure the smooth flow of goods to consumers, the monitoring teams from the Ministry of Commerce inspected commercial establishments, which are exempted from the curfew. These establishments include groceries, hypermarkets, vegetable and fruit shops, poultry and meat shops, fish shops, bakeries and gas stations. The ministry confirmed that the facilities are operating normally in terms of availability of goods and the flow of supplies of essential goods.

The ministry said that it would continue receiving complaints around the clock through its mobile App Balagh Tijari on the following link: https://mci.gov.sa/C-app or through the Contact Center on the number 1900 or the website of the Ministry of Commerce.
