Cinderella Musical Show to be Performed at Masrah Al Qasba Theatre Tomorrow (Monday)

Fans of family-oriented musical shows are in for a real treat at Al Qasba tomorrow (Monday) with the start of its three-day run of ‘Cinderella.’ Sharjah’s premier leisure, tourism and family destination is hosting a stage version of the perennially popular fairy tale, with three performances a day being played for visitors during Eid Al Adha.

Cinderella is being performed at Masrah Al Qasba Theatre during the Eid Al-Adha holidays, with shows taking place at 5:30pm, 7:30pm and 9:30pm. Organisers say that hosting the 40-minute musical aligns with Al Qasba’s policy of organising engaging entertainment events and activities for children and families during national holidays and throughout the year.

By offering a diverse programme of events for all community segments, we are able to provide something for everyone and in the process enrich Al Qasba’s tourism and leisure landscape,” said Sultan Mohammed Shattaf, Al Qasba Manager.

Visitors to Al Qasba will have the opportunity to engage with the characters from Cinderella 30 minutes prior to each show time, as the performers will be touring the destination’s walkways with the aim of encouraging visitors to see the musical. Audience members will also have the chance to meet and greet the cast after the show and pose for photos with them.

During the play, audience members set off on a magical musical journey where they watch the beautiful Cinderella trying to achieve her dreams away from her haughty and evil stepmother and her two vain and selfish stepsisters. The tale builds as she attempts to escape her stepmother’s clutches and meet a handsome prince at the Royal Ball, with more than a little bit of help from her good Fairy Godmother.

With prices set at AED 50 tickets for Cinderella at Masrah Al Qasba Theatre are being sold at Al Qasba Information Desk and online at Platinum List.
