Celebrity Chefs From Across the Middle East Set to Cook Up a Storm at Dubai Food Festival 2015

Visitors to Dubai in February will be able to rub shoulders with their favourite celebrity chefs at Dubai Food Festival, which takes place from 6-28 February at various locations across the city.
As part of the delicious and diverse events lined up for the 2015 edition, Dubai Food Festival has teamed up with celebrity chefs from across the region to host a series of unique events – including exclusive one-night-only dinners along the iconic Dubai Creek and a series of fun, live cooking sessions at the world’s largest mall, The Dubai Mall.
One of the signature events of DFF this year, Dine On the Creek will see popular Palestinian Chef Manal Al-Alem, Saudi cooking star Yousef Khumayes, and India’s favourite celebrity TV Chef Sanjeev Kapoor host special dinners on board traditional dhows and floating restaurants on Dubai Creek.
The celebrity chefs will serve up a specially-crafted menu and be on hand to entertain their guests with kitchen tales and stories from their celebrated careers. The Fatafeat Kitchen at Galeries Lafayette, The Dubai Mall on 20-21 February will also have a celebrity chef focus, with the participation of Kuwaiti, Saudi, Lebanese, Egyptian, Jordanian, Syrian, Canadian-Algerian and American-born-but-Middle Eastern-enamoured talents.
Spotlighting the region’s most popular home-grown food channel, Fatafeat, the inaugural Fatafeat Kitchen will welcome Chef Mohamed Orfali – the Heston Blumenthal for Modern Arabic cuisine; Chef Wafaa Al Kandari – an expert on authentic Khaleeji cuisine; Chef Salma Soliman – the modern housewife for

Egyptian cuisine; Chef Aya Enani – an inspiration to budding young chefs; Chef Layla Fathallah Bayoon – best known for her cooking tips for newlyweds; Chef Da’ad Abu-Jaber – an expert on international cuisine with an Arabic twist; Chef Houriya Zannoun – ‘The Mistress of Baking’; Chef Tarek Ibrahim – ‘The Master of Meat’; as well as Chef Andrew Mitchell, who has popularised the idea that real men can cook and offers quick and easy recipes for bachelors.
Visitors to Galeries Lafayette can look forward to live cooking demos, ‘meet and greets’, book signings and lots more from the long line-up of the most popular chefs in the Middle East.
