Ashridge to equip Saudi business leaders to take on the challenges of leading in a changing economy

As companies in Saudi Arabia face the challenges of operating in an economy affected by the fall in oil prices, there is a greater need to build leadership qualities to succeed in a changing and uncertain economic scenario.  According to Ashridge Executive Education, a non-profit making organization with over 20 years’ experience in training business leaders in the Middle East, customized executive education programs that address the real life challenges that companies in Saudi Arabia face, will help organizations to realize their strategic business and leadership objectives, further develop Saudi nationals to take on leadership roles and create competitive advantage for businesses.

Rory Hendrikz, Director of Ashridge Middle East, says: “In the current economic scenario in Saudi Arabia, it is important for organizations to have strong authentic business leaders who can not only predict future trends but also have the ability to lead and motivate their team to achieve organizational goals. We have made a concerted effort to address the leadership needs of regional companies in our upcoming ‘Leadership and Management Program’ which is only available in the Middle East. It will challenge leaders to lead more flexibly with greater confidence and with a broader range of capabilities and personal insights.”

In Saudi Arabia, Ashridge has worked with Mobily, Islamic Development Bank and others to deliver executive education programmes customized to their organizational goals.

Ashridge’s upcoming ‘Leadership and Management Program’ in the region gives a richer insight of self-evaluation, impact on others, and the context in which an organization and its stakeholders operate. For convenience, thisprogramme can be held at the interested company’s premises in Saudi Arabia or the company executives can join a group of similar participants at Ashridge Middle East in Abu Dhabi from April 10-14 or October 30 - November 03, 2016.

The program will also improve the ability to achieve results through teamwork by providing the tools to manage performance more effectively. A process oriented workshop, the program is more suited for mid-to senior level managers and provides an opportunity to learn from the past, support in understanding the present and help in building pivotal leadership capabilities for the future. It also includes three 1:1 coaching sessions to help participants achieve their individual goals.

“Our program is more focused on self-reflection which aids in reviewing and setting inspiring new personal and professional goals,” Hendrikz adds.
