Arabian Centres, the largest developer, owner and operator of shopping malls in Saudi Arabia, announced today the extension of business hours of its shopping centres in the kingdom. Arabian Centres, which has in its portfolio 18 shopping centres including, Mall of Arabia and Salam Mall in Jeddah, Al Nakheel Mall and Sahara Plaza in Riyadh, has extended opening hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan to accommodate the needs of all customers in the regions.
The retail real estate leader also announced that three of its shopping centres in the Western Region – Aziz Mall and Al Salaam Mall in Jeddah, and Makkah Mall in Makkah - will be open 24 hours throughout the Holy Month.
“We are pleased to extend the opening hours of our malls during Ramadan, with some operating 24/7,” said, Arabian Centres spokesperson. “Taking into consideration the specific customer needs and their preference to shop at night, as their mall visits tend to be after 10pm or in the early morning, the extended opening hours will offer increased convenience for our visitors. We are also confident that the extended business hours will translate into increased sales and visitor footfalls during the Holy Month. Across the portfolio, the opening hours are extended to 3.30 AM throughout the month to accommodate the needs of our customers who are rushing to buy food, gifts, and other necessities for their families. During Ramadan, some malls will be closed between 3.30 AM and 12.00 PM
