Bahra Cables recognized by SEC as the excellent vendor for 2015

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) selected Bahra Advanced Cable Manufacture Co. Ltd as the excellent vendor  for 2015. 

The company accepted the award at the 5th awards ceremony for top vendors of the Saudi Electricity Company suppliers, held recently in Riyadh.

On behalf of Bahra Cables, Kareem Talal Idriss, Business Development Manager, and Loai Taha Al-Bar, Government & Utilities Sales Manager received the award from the President & CEO of Saudi Electricity Company "SEC", Eng. Ziyad Alshiha.

On this occasion,  Talal K. Idriss, CEO of Bahra Advanced Cable Manufacture Co. Ltd., an affiliate of Construction Products Holding Company (CPC), expressed the company's delight and pride for being chosen as the excellent vendor of  Saudi Electricity Company for 2015, and he said that this choice assured the great trust which the company’s products enjoyed by one of its biggest clients, as well as its capability to provide products of the highest quality / specifications required by major companies such as Saudi Electricity Company.

Talal Idriss , CEO of Bahra Cables said “Bahra cables has been a major supplier to Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) for many years now and we are extremely proud to receive such an excellent award. It’s a great reflection of the efforts and strong teamwork from all departments. We look forward to building on this great customer relationship.”

He assured that the company's products meet all international standards  and that the company got a number of accreditation certificates such as (KEMA, IPH, SASO, LPCB, CSA, BASEC, BSI , UL ), and others for its production of power cables. The company, as well, got ISO 9001: 2008 for its collection of medium and high voltage cables up to 132 400 kV. Meanwhile, Bahra Cables is the first Saudi cable manufacturer that obtained ISO 14001: 2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007 from ANAB

 

He further pointed out that during the last few years, Bahra Cables supplied cables to Saudi Electricity Company worth SR. 1.5 billion. 

He noted that the opening of the "PVC" production plant contributed to cover the company's need of plastics, and thus enabled the company to produce quality products of international standards.  The PVC plant has an annual  capacity of more than 36,000 tons, which meets the needs of the company to enhance its cables production expansion plans.
