Discover “Treasures of Arabia” in Raffles Salon

Introducing for the very first time in Raffles Salon, “Treasures of Arabia” an Arabian themed Afternoon Tea experience starting from October 1st 2020, offering guests an authentic Middle Eastern journey while paying homage to the beautiful destination of Dubai. Carefully curated in a treasure box inspired by the 1001 nights folk tales, guests can indulge in delicate savoury bites and oriental sweets such as crispy osmaliyeh wrapped shrimps, falafel with white sesame, stuffed apricot kashta & pistachio, date & caramel coffee cake, and saffron, pistachio & rose infused scones, all complemented by a choice of unlimited Moroccan tea, Turkish coffee or Arabic coffee.

Adding a flair to the launch of this Arabian experience, guests can interact with a falcon while enjoying their afternoon tea every Saturday during the month of October, between 2pm to 6pm. Falcons are an integral part of the UAE culture and have been a representative of the ancient traditions of hunting practiced for over 4,000 years by the Bedouin tribes. Over time, falconry has adapted into an honoured traditional sport and is rooted in the cultural experience of Arabia. The Treasures of Arabia will offer a new experience complementing the current award-winning Floral Afternoon Tea, in partnership with Forever Rose.

The Treasures of Arabia Afternoon Tea is available daily in the elegant settings of Raffles Salon between 2 pm to 7 pm, and is priced at AED 160 per person.

SPA-licious at Raffles  

Delight in a blissful journey of tranquillity as Raffles Spa re-introduces the Raffles Indulgence treatment that includes a 60-minute absolute relaxation massage, followed by a delightful afternoon tea experience at Raffles Salon. 

Guests are invited to relax tired muscles and compress nerves through a thoughtful regime using deep relax massage oils by skilled Aromatherapy Associates. Aromas of Vetivert, Chamomile and 

Sandalwood will assist in soothing the restless mind and help bring the body and soul to a state of calm. 

To complement this pampering experience, guests are treated to a choice of Raffles Salon’s famous Floral Afternoon Tea, in partnership with Forever Rose, or the newly launched “Treasures of Arabia” – Arabian themed Afternoon Tea.

The Raffles Indulgence is priced at AED 450 per person; including the 60-minute massage and selected Afternoon Tea experience.

Splash into Raffles’ pool when you brunch at Solo 

Every Friday, whether before or after enjoying Solo’s recently launched family-style Italian brunch “Solo Gusto”, guests can luxuriate in style in the cool waters of Raffles’ outdoor swimming pool. The Solo Gusto Brunch & Pool package is priced at AED 300 per person including soft drinks and AED 400 per person including house beverages during brunch.  Children aged between twelve and fifteen years dine at half price, while kids below twelve years dining free. 

The Solo Gusto Brunch is on offer every Friday from 1pm to 4pm, subject to availability and reservations are required prior to arrival.  The Raffles swimming pool is open from 8am to 8pm, offering social hours with discounted drinks from 3pm to 6pm.

Become a master chef with Solo’s cooking classes

With a brand new series of Italian Cooking Masterclasses, foodies will whip up authentic and delicious Italian dishes like a pro, including Solo’s Signature Bruschetta, Ravioli Di Spinaci (spinach ravioli), Linguini Ai Frutti Di Mare (seafood linguine) and Tortino Al Cioccolato (chocolate tart). Featuring a different style or region of Italian cooking, each hands-on class teaches how to cook flavoursome dishes from scratch and demonstrate professional culinary skills, from making pasta dough, through to balancing flavours and honing knife skills. After the behind the scenes action in the kitchen, the master chefs are invited to join their fellow foodies for a private dining experience in the Solo restaurant and enjoy their very own culinary creation.

The Cooking Masterclasses at Solo are priced at AED 320 per person inclusive of soft drinks (alcoholic packages are available) and will take place upon request, perfect for a special event with family and friends or colleagues. Respecting social distancing norms, the classes will accommodate a minimum of four and a maximum of six guests.  Advance booking is a must.
