Transport Minister Al-Jasser hails 2023 as “exceptional year”

Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Saleh Al-Jasser described 2023 as an “exceptional year," saying that this makes Saudi Arabia look to the future with great confidence.

During his speech at the annual National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) event, Al-Jasser stated that Saudi Arabia is making steady progress toward achieving Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS) and its ambitious goal of transforming the Kingdom into a global logistics hub.

“Our role is to empower all economic sectors and activities and enhance the quality of life, including the sectors of tourism, Hajj and Umrah, industry, trade, and others,” the minister said.

The Kingdom's vision is based on its strengths, one of which is its location, Al-Jasser explained, adding that the role of the transportation and logistics system is to use the site to serve the economy, citizens, and visitors.
