His Excellency the Vice Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Dr. Rumaih bin Mohammed AL-Rumaih, inaugurates Saudi Warehousing & Logistics Expo in Riyadh

On behalf of His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser, His Excellency the Vice Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Dr. Rumaih bin Mohammed AL-Rumaih, inaugurated the 3rd edition of Saudi Warehousing & Logistics Expo at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center. The event runs until 10 September, bringing together warehousing, logistics and supply chain industries.

 

Held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Eng. Saleh Nasser Al-Jasser, the three-day exhibition brings together more than 350 exhibiting companies from over 25 countries, showcasing more than 4,000 products and services across logistics, warehousing, supply chain management, transport and related technologies.

 

During his opening speech, His Excellency Dr. Rumaih bin Mohammed AL-Rumaih, said: “Saudi Arabia is at the forefront of a transformative phase in the development of its logistics sector, underpinned by an ambitious national vision and the steadfast support of our leadership. We are advancing with determination to establish the Kingdom as a leading global logistics hub and a key enabler of international trade and connectivity. As we witness the progression in our industrial and logistics transformation, this expo serves as an important trade exhibition to strengthen collaboration, accelerate sectoral development and advance the objectives of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy in support of the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030.”

The opening day programme featured senior representatives from government and industry, with discussions addressing the priorities driving Saudi Arabia’s logistics development. The accompanying Saudi Warehousing & Logistics Summit, held on the first day of the exhibition, brought together leaders from the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, Federation of Saudi Council, DHL Global Forwarding KSA, MAWREF Logistics Solution, Kaden Investment and other major organizations to discuss logistics infrastructure and investment, multimodal connectivity, warehousing and distribution, digital resilience, supply chain security and trade facilitation.

 

Discussions examined how shifting international trade flows are creating new considerations for Saudi Arabia’s logistics networks, alongside the Kingdom’s continued investment in the sector and its ambition to becoming a global logistics hub.

 

Beyond the summit, the exhibition floor brings together solutions across the logistics value chain, including cargo and cold chain, cross-docking and transloading, freight forwarding, last-mile delivery, multimodal transport, ports and terminals, third-party logistics, warehousing, automation and digital technologies.

 

The event also features a dedicated Commercial Vehicles Zone, showcasing fleet and transport solutions for Saudi Arabia’s commercial vehicle market, alongside Hala (هلا) Chats, which will run across the final two days of the exhibition with practical case studies and discussions focused on real-world logistics challenges and applications.

 

With more than 18,000 industry professionals expected to attend, Saudi Warehousing & Logistics Expo provides a meeting point for logistics service providers, technology companies, warehouse operators, transport businesses, investors and supply chain decision-makers to explore solutions and identify opportunities across the Kingdom’s expanding logistics ecosystem.
