From making an initial search to bookings and payments, a new generation of travel technologies are set to better connect the region’s travel industry while improving the travel experience for millions of people each year. During the upcoming Arabian Travel Market (ATM), Amadeus—a leading provider of advanced technology solutions for the global travel industry—will continue its legacy of building strong alliances with industry partners during its 15th year at the show.
At this year’s ATM, Amadeus will demo the latest tech solutions being applied within the regional and international travel community, as well as hosting daily seminars covering themes such as using creating “smart destinations” with big data, the future of mobile payments in travel, online merchandising strategies, and more.
Located in the ‘Travel Tech Show’ in ATM at stand TT1520, Amadeus will demonstrate how hotels, travel agencies, corporations, and airlines are already leveraging the latest digital tools to serve travelers better and to manage their own business more effectively.
Bringing fresh insights into the marketplace, Amadeus will also reveal for the first time the findings of the‘Consumer Travel Report 2018 – Middle East’—a study co-commissioned by Amadeus in partnership with Insight l Out—which explores how individuals in the region search for, plan, share, and book travel in the digital era.
Antoine Medawar, Vice President, Amadeus MENA, says: “As a truly international show, ATM provides us with an ideal platform to illustrate breakthroughs across the travel industry. These new technologies have the potential to fundamentally change the way that partners in the industry work together and how they interact with their customers. We look forward to sharing this vision with attendees at ATM and discussing trends that will shape travel today, tomorrow, and beyond.”
With activities coming together under the slogan of “Beyond Air”, Amadeus is placing a particular emphasis at this year’s ATM on solutions for the payments, hotels, and transportation segments of the travel industry.
