Successful Haj silences critics

After the successful completion of Haj, pilgrims have denounced what they described as Iranian lies.

The success of Haj 2016 is a slap in the face to those who were trying to denigrate and belittle Saudi Arabia and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, they said.
The pilgrims pledged their allegiance and total support to the Kingdom and its highly valued and appreciated role in serving Islam and Muslims.
Ahmad Shaheen and Wael Mohammed, from Egypt, said the Kingdom was the most capable country to manage the enormous logistical task required for Haj every year.
They added that Saudi Arabia had made every effort for the comfort of the pilgrims and visitors who come to perform their religious duties. The two men specifically pointed out the massive expansion of the holy sites, including the mataf and the Jamrat Bridge.
Mohammed Shabam and Ali Mohammed, from Yemen, said Saudi Arabia enjoyed a great deal of respect among Muslims.
“We thank Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for all their efforts to contain the crisis in Yemen,” they said, adding that they had spent a most inspiring time in the performance of their rituals in Makkah and the holy sites.
They said that it was very impressive for the Kingdom to receive millions of Hajis and pilgrims year-round and that it had proved more than capable in meeting the challenges. They said that this capability proved that Saudi Arabia is the leader of the Muslim world.
Mohammed Yusuf and Mohammed Waqqas, from Pakistan, praised the pioneering role of the Kingdom on all levels. They said anyone who spoke against the Kingdom was an enemy seeking to cause harm.
According to the pilgrims, the successful Haj was not the result of mere chance, but was rather the result of careful planning and hard work on the part of the Saudi government and all its committees and agencies.
The Kingdom deployed both human and material efforts to serve Muslims in general and the guests of Allah in particular. The Kingdom spares no effort in serving pilgrims, and the gigantic projects stand witness to this hard work.
Saudis are proud of the developments and services offered at the Holy Sites in both Makkah and Madinah.
Haj preparations for the next year begin at the end of Haj every year, with the Kingdom spending billions of riyals to improve services.
This year, Saudi Arabia implemented new projects and spent generously on them with a view to offering the most improved services for pilgrims.
Some projects are still being implemented while others will begin as soon as Haj ends. The Kingdom is striving to make Makkah a smart city with preparations to achieve this goal underway through the e-path and e-bracelets.
