stc, Zain KSA, Mobily join hands to offer services to govt entities

stc, Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) and Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) formed an alliance to offer innovative services and products to support decision making in government entities, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The alliance is a qualitative initiative at the regional level, and it was registered within the experimental regulatory environment for innovative solutions by the SandBox providers.

The alliance aims to maximize the benefit of analyzing big data in developing innovative products and solutions that support decision-makers in government agencies. In addition, it aims to enable decision-makers to improve their performance efficiency and productivity. It will also facilitate the provision of distinguished services and boost economic development through creating major investment and economic opportunities. Furthermore, it will help open new markets.

The alliance will enhance the sustainability of economic development and diversification in the Kingdom through the use and analysis of big data, as the experimental regulatory environment for innovative solutions represents an incubator enhancing the performance and development of the telecommunications sector.
