For the first time ever, the resort presents Layali Ramadan tent, which will be located in the Sablah area within Al Bandar and serving sohour every evening.
Located in Al Bandar hotel wing, Al Tanoor will serve a mouth-watering iftar featuring a selection of traditional dishes from the across the Middle East, Turkey and Morocco from sunset until 22.00 every evening.
The Sablah area will come to life every evening after iftar with the resort’s brand-new Layali Ramadan tent. For the first time, this dedicated Ramadan tent offer relaxed seating in air-conditioned comfort within a beautifully decorated tent showcasing luxurious Omani fabrics in a unique setting. Every evening from 21.00 until 01.45, family and friends can gather to enjoy sohour, shisha and beverages from à la carte options. The selections include hot and cold mezzeh, a saj selection, Arabic grilled meats, flavoured shisha and Ramadan juices.
With a number of private banqueting rooms across the resort, a variety of options are also available to groups, so families and colleagues can celebrate this special month with each other.
In keeping with the annual tradition, throughout the Holy Month, all guests dining at Al Tanoor for iftar and sohour in the Layali Ramadan tent are invited to enter Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa’s annual Ramadan raffle draw. This year’s exciting prizes include an overnight stay at Al Husn hotel, pampering treatments at CHI, The Spa and dining vouchers to enjoy meals across the resort. The grand prize draw will take place at the resort’s Layali Ramadan tent on the last night of Ramadan.
