Rotana crowned ‘Middle East’s Leading Hotel Brand’

Rotana once again emerged the big winner at the Middle East Gala Ceremony of the World Travel Awards (WTA) 2015, claiming as many as 15 awards to reinforce its preeminent position in the regional hospitality landscape.

Rotana was chosen as “Middle East’s Leading Hotel Brand” for the ninth successive year, and took home numerous awards in the individual categories including “Middle East’s Leading Corporate Resort” for Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi, “Middle East’s Leading City Hotel” for Al Murooj Rotana Dubai, and “Middle East’s Leading Luxury Hotel Apartments” for Arjaan by Rotana in Dubai Media City.

Dubbed the “Oscars of the travel industry”, the World Travel Awards is the premier global awards event that promotes excellence in the travel and tourism industry.

The Middle East Gala Ceremony, which was held in Dubai, marks the opening leg of WTA’s 2015 Grand Tour - a year-long global search for the world’s finest travel, tourism and hospitality organizations, covering seven continents.

“Rotana has been consistently recognized on the global stage for its outstanding performance and commitment to excellence, and our dominant showing at the ‘Travel Oscars’ confirms our pioneering spirit and our relentless endeavor to deliver exceptional guest experiences,” said Nasser Al Nowais, Chairman of Rotana. “This is the ninth straight year that Rotana has made it to the finale of the World Travel Awards Middle East – a measure of our ability to consistently deliver world-class guest services – and we look forward to going up against the world’s best hotel brands at the Grand Final.”

Rotana claimed two top prizes at the Grand Final of last year’s World Travel Awards, winning for “World’s Leading Business Hotel Brand” and the “World’s Leading Corporate Resort” (for Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi).

“The awards and recognitions that continue to come our way are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and their passion to exceed the expectations of our guests, every time,” Al Nowais said.
