ICSC has named Red Sea Mall, located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as a Silver winner in the Traditional Marketing category.

Red Sea Mall received accolade for their annual ‘Orphan Iftar Banquet’ initiative, which encourages generousity, kindness and hope for a brighter future, enriching the lives of both orphans and the community sponsors.

Red Sea Mall is owned by Red Sea Market Limited. Professional recognition for this program was given to the following individuals: Aydarous AlBar, CEO, Intimaa Real estate; Eng. Ahmed Mahboub, Quality Assurance & Development Manager & Acting Marketing, Intimaa Real estate; and Eng. Al Rayan Qaddori, Deputy General Manager - Operation, Intimaa Real estate.

"This win is a testament to the quality and spirit of innovation that drive Red Sea Mall's leadership in the retail industry, not only in Saudi Arabia, but the entirety of the region," said Mohammad Alawi, Chief Executive Officer of Red Sea Markets, one of Jeddah's landmark shopping centers. "We will continue to be a home away from home for every possible facet of the local community and national and international tourists, who will find events, promotions and brands that meet their tastes on any given day."

The 2015 Middle East and North Africa Shopping Centre and Retailer Awards competition was open to shopping centre owners, developers, management companies, architects, designers and retailers. ICSC announced the winners during an awards ceremony in Dubai at RECon Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
