More than 36,000 pilgrims have arrived from the Mecca Road Initiative

The Directorate General of Passports announced the arrival of more than 36 thousand pilgrims from beneficiaries of Mecca through the initiative, where it is expected that the number of pilgrims beneficiaries exceeds the initiative, more than 225 thousand pilgrims this year, from five countries, namely Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Tunisia.

Statistical showed that the number of those who arrived in the Kingdom reached 36.744 pilgrims, since the beginning of the initiative on 1440/11 / 1e until yesterday, corresponding to 1440/11/8 H, where Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah scored the highest percentage 22.427 pilgrims, while arrived at the airport of King Abdulaziz 13,317 pilgrims arrived and the number of flights carrying pilgrims 90 trips by 57 flights through the city airport and 33 flights Jeddah Airport Road.
