As part of the second phase of the strategic water plan, the National Water Company (NWC) announced the completion of a project to install main water lines of various diameters to support the daily distribution system in several plots in the Tuwaiq West district of Riyadh, at a total cost of 132 million Saudi Riyals.
The company explained that the project included laying 53 kilometers of water lines and implementing 20 connections to existing lines. The goal is to improve network and operational efficiency, expand coverage, maximize the use of existing lines, and enhance quality of life.
NWC stated that it is continuing its efforts at an accelerated pace to implement projects that support infrastructure, enhance operational efficiency, contribute to water security, improve service quality, and keep pace with the growing demand for water. These efforts align with the comprehensive urban development underway in the capital, Riyadh.
The company indicated that these efforts are consistent with its strategic objectives of providing sustainable water services in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.
