MOMAH: 19M sqm of white land in Madinah entered development, trading

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing (MOMAH) revealed that approximately 19 million square meters (sqm) of white land in the Madinah region has entered development or trading.

The registered areas included 12 million sqm of land whose development has been completed, two million sqm of white land that has entered trading, and an additional five million sqm of land still under development, the ministry said.

These efforts are expected to increase the supply of urban and residential land in the region.

Revenues from white land fees have supported nine development and housing projects in the Madinah region, enhancing the efficiency of infrastructure and municipal services and enabling the implementation of high-quality projects.

The ministry said that the results achieved in Madinah are an extension of the program’s success in several regions across the Kingdom.
