Jeddawis turn out in large numbers to show loyalty to king

Jeddah Mayor Hani Abu Ras inaugurated recently the largest graffiti titled "Jeddah pledges allegiance" in honor of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.

The municipality, in cooperation with a young group of graffiti artists called Zaad, made the largest graffiti painting in the walkway of Al-Rawda district to pledge allegiance to King Salman on behalf of the residents of the city, which he is expected to visit.

The imaginative graffiti shows the city’s glorious past and bright present as well as the portraits of King Salman, Crown Prince Muqrin and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif.

Abu Ras participated in the task of giving the finishing touches to the painting with a brush and signing the loyalty to show his allegiance to the king.
Praising the efforts of the artists, he said this initiative shows the love and loyalty of the people of Jeddah toward the wise leadership of this great nation.
This painting also depicts the talent and creativity of the youth who should be supported and utilized properly, Abu Ras added.

Artists Abdullah Al-Rashad and Hamza Idris said the largest graffiti painting in Jeddah made in three days witnessed the largest turnout of the city’s residents at the location. They remarked that the citizens and expatriates appreciated the artwork and supported it heartily.
The huge graffiti has a special place where the residents can sign their names.
