Saudi, US Ministers of Energy discuss cooperation in energy research

Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Saudi Minister of Energy, received, on April 12, Chris Wright, US Secretary of Energy, and his accompanying delegation at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) in Riyadh.

The two parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in energy research fields, exchange of expertise, and enhancement of joint research efforts, the state-run SPA reported.

Wright was briefed on KAPSARC’s role in energy policy research and transformations, climate change, sustainable transportation, advisory services, as well as the development of analytical models and tools that contribute to finding solutions to current challenges in the energy sector.
