To reinforce a culture of giving and spread hope, Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) is inviting the community to participate in Well ofHopecampaign on 23rdMay 2019, from 8 pm until 1 am, at The Dubai Mall. Reckoned as one of the most accessible and inclusive campaigns in the UAE, Well of Hopeis being held under Arab Hope Makers, an initiative by Mohamad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), the third round of which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Well of Hopecampaign intends to highlight the pressing global issue of water scarcity and provide needy and people living in remote areas with access to clean drinking water. The campaign will allow employees of various government and private entities, people of determination, and other members of the community to participate and contribute, thereby including the entire community and celebrating the true essence of the national annual observation of Year of Tolerance.
Under the campaign themed Power of Giving, Dubai Culture will install a mobile virtual water pumping device at The Dubai Mall to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan and instill values of giving and empathy. It will allow visitors to pump water through the device and the total amount of clean water pumped will be donated to communities with no access to clean drinking water. Apart from the installation, the campaign will also feature live painting sessions by a number of acclaimed and budding artists.
To enrich the event, an artistic mural with work of artist Diaa Allam was featured, which expressed the emotion of hope and power of creativity, thereby crafting a captivating piece of art.--

Well of Hopeseeks to inculcate a culture of giving and support the value of compassion in the society and position Dubai as a regional and an international hub for humanitarian and voluntary work.”
The campaign is being held at The Dubai Mall, which is located in the heart of the Downtown Dubai and is the world’s largest and most-visited retail and entertainment destination. The venue hosts a rich mix of tourists and residents from various countries and cultures, and represents the multiculturalism that Dubai exemplifies, thereby giving Dubai Culture an opportunity to share the humanitarian efforts and the culture of giving that the emirate is committed to, with people from across the world.
