Construction of the Maritime Infrastructure The Red Sea Project is being held with the international "Arcirudon"

The Red Sea Development Company signed a contract with Arcirodon International yesterday to establish the 28,000 sq km Red Sea infrastructure.
According to the contract won by Arcirodon, a bridge of 3.3 km will be constructed. The main land of the Red Sea will arrive in the first phase of the Red Sea project. The tender also includes the construction of two coastal berths and four different island berths. .
"This agreement marks a turning point for our company, being the first construction contract for the Red Sea project and the start of the overall development of the site," said John Bagno, CEO of Red Sea Development. "We chose to cooperate with Arcirodon for our confidence in their ability to Address the challenges involved in this project, and their commitment to our rigorous sustainability principles across all phases of the procurement process. "
"Arcirudon has a strong track record in developing marine infrastructure around the world, delivering projects that combine innovation and the latest developments in construction, and we are honored to be the first to have a major development contract for the Red Sea project," said Dennis Karpayers, We are also pleased to cooperate with the project team, which sets environmental protection as one of its priorities. "
The bridge will have two highways, linked to each other by a curved curve, and added as a result of the spatial planning processes that preceded the announcement of the master plan. The island will include nine luxury hotels out of 14 hotels to be built during the first phase of the project, Retail and entertainment in the coastal area.
Instead of using the shortest route to the island, it will rely on the land masses planned to protect the rare coral reefs and ecosystem surrounding the bridge area. The temporary bridge will be built at a later date to be a permanent gateway to the island. Surrounding.
The island's offshore platforms will use dolphins, which are connected to the mainland with short bridges. These dolphins contribute to the protection of reefs living in shallow waters near the shore, as well as facilitate the delivery of workers, materials and machinery to the islands. On prefabricated construction structures to reduce the number of workers on site and minimize environmental impact.
To ensure the local companies' contribution to the project, the rocks needed to build the site will be made up of 10 local stone quarries, a number that is expected to rise as the work progresses. The first batch of rocks has already been secured at the project site to enable early construction.
Local companies will also engage in several areas of the project, including securing resources such as prefabricated concrete, fuel, steel box beams, cross-support structures, and the supply of manpower and other support services required by the project site.
The construction of marine infrastructure is an essential element in the foundation work that precedes the first phase, which runs on schedule to be completed by the end of 2020.
The first phase will include the construction of 14 luxurious hotels with over 3,000 rooms to be built on five islands, two resorts in the mountainous and desert region, and a marina for yachts, leisure facilities, a dedicated airport, and important service and logistics infrastructure.
The Red Sea Development Company announced earlier this year that construction work on the site has begun and that initial phase operations are fully operational.
John Bajanu, CEO of Red Sea Development Company, said that one of the main objectives of the project is to provide jobs for Saudi youth. The participation of local companies has become one of the key considerations in cooperation with international contractors, ensuring the protection and provision of local jobs and facilitating the transfer of knowledge. Enhance the competitiveness of Saudi cadres.
"We will be able to use the temporary bridge to transport material and human capacity to the island by December 2019 and will be connected by June 2020," said Ian Williamson, Senior Project Delivery Officer, Red Sea Development. It will provide a solid platform for the smooth and efficient transfer of human capabilities, materials and equipment to the project's destination, and will contribute to reducing environmental impact during on-site developments.
