A delegation of young people from China was briefed on the history and culture of Saudi Arabia as they visited important historical sites.
Their visit was part of the third Saudi-Chinese youth meeting, titled “Building common concepts and diversity between Saudi and Chinese youth,” which was organized by King Abdul Aziz Public Library in cooperation with the Peace Project for Cultural Communication.
Dr. Al-Washmi, secretary-general of the King Abdullah International Center for Arabic Language, said that both cultures have long histories of traditions, literature and arts, and that the youth program aims to strengthen the cultural ties.
