For her part, Ms. Mariam Hamad Al Nuaimi, General Manager of Qatar Cancer Society emphasized the importance of such events and campaigns in helping children to resist disease and defeat it. She also added these gifts are the least that can be provided for children from psychological support rather than moral support which we must all contribute to it, she added: "I thank all those who are working to support our activities in every available way and their participation in all events for cancer patients and awareness events."
From their side, Hamad General Hospital, Qatar Cancer Society and the families extended their gratitude to the al khaliji team for the continued support and efforts to alleviate pain and help children in their fight against cancer.
The visit came as part of al khaliji’s corporate social responsibility strategy which focuses on supporting educational and health-care initiatives, conserving the environment and giving back to the community.
This Ramadan, the bank has launched for the third consecutive year a charity donation campaign. For every transaction customers make through their al khaliji debit or credit card, the bank will contribute QAR 1 to charity, effectively allowing al khaliji customers to partake in its charitable activities during the Holy month simply by carrying out their day-to-day banking activities.
