Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing to Patronize Real Estate Future Forum next February

Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, will patronize the Real Estate Future Forum, which will be held between February 22 and 24, 2022 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh with the participation of local and international speakers. Several local and international organizations concerned with the real estate, housing and smart cities development sector will also take part in the event that will be held as part of the social responsibility of economists, business leaders, investors, professionals, practitioners and real estate sectors.
Holding the forum stresses the importance of the real estate sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially that it is one on the pillars of the national economy and out of keenness to increase its efficiency and encourage investment in the sector, in addition to enabling it to increase its contribution to the GDP.
The forum seeks to contribute to improving the performance of real estate institutions, mainly small and medium-sized ones, and enhancing the quality of their performance and expanding the participation base of the Saudi youth in various fields and opportunities of the real estate sector.
The forum seeks to become an international intellectual and scientific platform to discuss the reality and future of the real estate sector through a distinguished scientific approach and different system to enrich all aspects of discussions and present the best international practices to contribute to enhancing the real estate future. It also seeks to contribute to enabling local and international real estate stakeholders under one ceiling to exchange expertise and information and discuss challenges and practices to develop the sector as a supporter for development and attracting investments, in a bid to boost GDP and provide jobs for national cadres.
The forum will discuss 10 major topics concerned with regulatory and legislative trends in the real estate sector; future cities and urban development; smart cities and sustainability; attractiveness and effectiveness of real estate investment; improving the quality and safety of construction technology; quality of life in real estate development; financing in promoting the real estate market; artificial intelligence, the internet of things and big data in real estate industry; human capacity and capacity-building in the real estate sector; and social responsibility in the real estate market.
