Riyadh Season set to launch 'RUSH' festival for electronic games, opens ticket sales

Within the activities of the Riyadh Season 2021, the “RUSH” festival for electronic games will be launched in the Riyadh Front Entertainment District, one of the 14 sets of the season.

The festival is the most prominent and largest in the field of electronic games in the region.

The activities of the five-day festival will kick off on October 22 and continue until October 26. Registration has opened for participation and the purchase of tickets at the link: https://tickets.riyadhseason.sa/ar/d/704/rush.

The festival is expected to attract thousands of electronic games lovers to the heart of the capital in the Riyadh Front to enter competitions and challenges in a group of games, such as Tekken 7, Peggy, Overwatch, FIFA 2022, Cool, Of Duty and others. Cash prizes worth a total of SR1 million are at stake.
 

The entertainment activities at the “RUSH” festival are varied. They include competitions and finals that will be broadcast across the platforms such as “Facebook Gaming”, “Twitch”, “YouTube Gaming”, in addition to live performances on the stage that include interactive and exciting segments.

The festival is also organizing a “cosplay” competition, in which the favorite game characters of the festival’s visitors are embodied on the ground every day. The winners will be crowned on October 25 with prizes worth SR70,000 under the supervision of a jury composed of local and international judges.

The “RUSH” festival specialized in electronic games is among eight exhibitions that will be organized in the entertainment “Riyadh Front” area. The other exhibitions include: “Jewelry Show”, a specialized exhibition that serves as a shopping front for the latest types of jewelry in the world, and attracts sellers of precious pieces; the “Anime Exhibition” dedicated to fans of anime films; “Riyadh Toy Festival” exhibition, which is one of the largest festivals directed at families and children; an exhibition and conference [email protected] related to cybersecurity techniques; “I am Arab” exhibition specialized in Arab women’s fashion; “Perfume Exhibition”, an international exhibition specialized in the field of perfumes and cosmetics,;and “Riyadh Motors Show” that attracts car lovers, and focuses on providing a unique experience for rare models.
