The GAC Group walked away from the Lloyd’s List South Asia, Middle East and Africa Awards 2017 with The Topaz Excellence in Logistics accolade.
The Award was received by Meena Mathews, Regional Manager P&I – Middle East Region, at a ceremony held at Dubai’s Palazzo Versace Hotel. It recognises the ability to provide a complete logistics service package with end-to-end supply chain management solutions across both land and sea within South Asia, Middle East and Africa and destinations outside the regions, and how services have benefitted customers. By awarding it to GAC, the judges lauded the Group’s commitment to the logistics sector, supported by its comprehensive range of services and continued investment in quality facilities and technology.
Fredrik Nyström, Group Vice President – Middle East, says: “This award is a strong vote of confidence to our end-to-end logistics capabilities and a timely addition to our growing industry accolades, ahead of the opening of our new Dubai South contract logistics warehouse early next year. We will continue to invest in quality infrastructure and technology and deliver efficiencies to help our customers succeed in the competitive business landscape.”
GAC’s portfolio of logistics services – from Contract Logistics, Freight Services, Supply Chain Management, Project Logistics to Warehousing & Distribution - covers diverse sectors, from FMCG, retail, pharmaceutical to automotive and oil and gas.
