Turkish Airlines invites everyone to create new dreams and make them come true with its “Delightful Stories” project

Turkish Airlines, Europe’s best airline for the fifth year in a row, which has built its brand through innovation and imagination, wishes to inspire others who try to make their dreams come true. We want to celebrate those who, with a spark of inspiration, courageously challenge themselves to achieve their goals.

Delightful Stories, a project which has made an impact on social media with the most recent February account of the Professional Blind Surfer, Derek Rabelo, turns to India for its next story.

It is the story of the Indian sportswoman, Kavitha Kanaparthi, who crosses continents on a bicycle and can run over 100 KM in one go. Her story tells how sports became her primary passion and what we can learn about life by achieveing our goals.

As a child, Kavitha dreamt of becoming India’s first ever female pilot, but in her teenage years, Kavitha was diagnosed with vertigo after a traffic accident, and realized that her dreams of becoming a pilot were over.

However, raised in a sports-loving family, Kavitha found joy in running very early in her life and decided to make sports her new passion.

Kavitha’s story, which depicts her dedication to excellence, will inspire everyone, especially women. The story, filmed against the stunning beauty of the Bangalore, Ooty and Yelagiri regions, is a wonderful addition to the Delightful Stories Project.

Users can access all of the inspirational films in the Delightful Stories series on the official website, www.delightfulstories.com and can also submit their own story to be recorded as the last video of the project.

Turkish Airlines is ready to recognize those willing to discover, to chase their dreams and to widen their world.
