THE LOFT by Lexus at Brussels Airport, created and operated by Brussels Airlines and Lexus, was named "Best Airport Lounge in Europe 2022" at the prestigious World Travel Awards. The announcement was made last Saturday evening, on the occasion of a gala ceremony on the red carpet of the Hilton Hotel in Mallorca, which was attended by the main decision makers, influencers, and media of the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors. THE LOFT concept lounge has achieved this prestigious award every year since its opening in 2018.
“This award recognizes The LOFT as a tangible expression of our brand's promise of an extraordinary experience,” said Pascal Ruch, vice president of Toyota Motor Europe and head of Lexus Europe. With its mix of Belgian creativity and Omotenashi Japanese hospitality, the lounge offers an unrivaled experience for business travelers. "
“THE LOFT also marks our continued expansion as a global luxury lifestyle brand, where the design, craftsmanship, and comfort it showcases are reflected in our latest Lexus range of electrified cars, such as the all-electric RZ, and SUVs, Hybrid or Plug-in Hybrid. "
With an area of over 2,000 m 2, the lounge is divided into areas with distinct environments, including a central bar, comfortable seating areas, and a relaxation area for those who work on the go. Iconic elements of Lexus design characterize the space, including details of the infamous Lexus grille, the Lexus bookcase, and a Mark Levinson sound system.
Upon entering THE LOFT, guests are greeted with personalized touches, such as a personal welcome and traditional Oshibiri warm towels. They can relax with a wide range of digital newspapers on the Lexus LS-style shiatsu massage chairs, enjoy Grohe extrasensory showers, or take a refreshing nap in a bedroom with a starry ceiling, before savoring the fine dining that includes the exclusive delights of a maître chocolatier Neuhaus.
THE LOFT at Brussels Airport is inspired by the award-winning INTERSECT BY LEXUS spaces in Dubai and Tokyo. The airline's unique lounge concept was inspired by Lexus luxury, design, and traditional Japanese Omotenashi hospitality focused on anticipating guests' needs even before they arise.
