Tabadul Marks 2022 Achievements - More innovative and diverse portfolio, over-arching strategy, and a promising investment outlook

The Saudi Company for Exchanging Information Electronically (TABADUL) has marked several new achievements in 2022, providing innovative services to the logistics and financial sectors in collaboration with its partners from the government and private sectors. Building an integrated logistics ecosystem and creating secure technical solutions, Tabadul supports the Kingdom’s digital transformation and cements its position as a leading economic, commercial, and industrial powerhouse and a global logistics hub facilitating international trade.

Over the past year, Tabadul focused on expanding and diversifying its customer base and enhancing its portfolio by creating new products and managing the existing product portfolio, and launching new services to provide integrated solutions for the logistics ecosystem supply chain.

Committed to creating strategic partnerships to accelerate the realization of national goals and championing digital logistics, Tabadul continued to build strategic partnerships with local, regional, and international partners, signing many agreements and MOUs with government and private entities in the fields of fintech, banking, supply chains, transportation, and other logistics services and solutions.

The Truck Management System (TMS) is one of the innovative solutions launched by Tabadul in 2022. TMS is designed with the latest technologies to manage and improve the operation of incoming and outgoing trucks in Saudi Arabia’s borders. Trucks are tracked using Geofencing/GPS technologies, achieving integration with the relevant partners and logistics stakeholders and automating all needed approvals and validations with the relevant partners while managing the operations field.

Tabadul also overhauled Wthaq, its digital platform for all bank guarantee transactions of Saudi banks and foreign banks operating in the Kingdom.  Wthaq has onboarded several new partner banks including Saudi National Bank, Al Rajhi Bank, and Saudi British Bank, and has begun issuing and activating electronic letters of guarantee to their customers through an integrated system.

In parallel, Tabadul continued building its internal capabilities by investing in multiple HR training programs to develop a qualified national staff who can lead the digital transformation of the logistics sector in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s  Human Capability Development Program.

Tabadul has also developed its public communication approach, participating in many local and regional prestigious events and activities. Under the theme “Tech Solutions Beyond Tomorrow”, Tabadul participated in GITEX GLOBAL, which took place in Dubai.

These developments have all contributed to shaping Tabadul’s new strategy, BEYOND, which the company launched as a roadmap for its role in facilitating and developing regional and global trade. Through its new strategy, TABADUL will drive logistics automation, enhance the private sector’s operational performance, and deliver innovative services to support the maritime transport sector, in addition to its role in facilitating trade finance and leveraging the financial services sector..

Tabadul will continue its success story in 2023, collaborating with its partners of success and championing digital logistics to transform Saudi Arabia into a global logistics hub and a facilitator of the regional and global trade system, thereby supporting Saudi Vision 2030’s goal to transform the Kingdom into a global destination for driving human-centered economic growth.
