Simon G. Shaya, General Manager and President GROHE East Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa, has been appointed as the new Chairman to the Board of Directors of GROHE DAWN Water Technology effective April 2015. With this appointment, Mr. Shaya will be representing GROHE Group interests more intensively within the Region of South Africa, Sub Equator and southern part of the African continent thus taking on a key role in one of the leading suppliers of sanitary fittings in Africa.

Simon G. Shaya has been with GROHE since 1996. Under his leadership, the company has evolved into the region’s leading provider of sanitary fittings focusing on growing the business across the Middle East and Africa including the expansion of the African continent.

With a majority stake in GROHE DAWN Water Technology, GROHE Group has strengthened its position as a global player leading critical African countries becoming the leading brand in the sanitary industry on the African continent.
