Saudi Cable Co.’s board of directors decided yesterday, April 16, to appoint Fawaz Bin Mubarak Al-Muqbil as CEO effective today, April 17.
Al-Muqbil replaced Nael Samir Fayez, who was appointed as an advisor to the company’s board of directors, according to a statement to Tadawul.
Al-Muqbil has over 34 years of experience and has held various managerial positions in several leading companies, including CEO of Middle East Specialized Cables Co. (MESC), Middle East Cable Company (Misk), Chairman of National Industrial Company, and General Manager of Steel Products Company (STEPCO).
Moreover, Al Muqbil holds a bachelor's degree in industrial management and a master's degree in executive management from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), the statement added.
In another statement, Saudi Cable said that Khalid Asaad Khashoggi was appointed as Managing Director (MD) effective April 17.
Khashoggi has 22 years of experience in management, holding many positions, most notably: Vice Chairman of Thimar Development Holding Co., partner and executive board member at Kalyan Finance Group, and member of the Saudi British Joint Business Council (SBJBC) and Saudi French Business Council (CAFS).
