Saudi Arabia on unprecedented transformation journey: Minister of Economy

Saudi Arabia is taking an unprecedented journey of transformation, with a focus on sustainable development goals, Faisal Al-Ibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning, said in a statement during the High-Level Political Forum. 

The Kingdom has aligned sustainable development goals into its national program, supported innovation and invested in human development, he said. 

There is a common goal, centered on accelerating collective cooperation and leaving no one behind, the minister stressed, stating the Kingdom’s commitment to making a difference. 

Moreover, Al-Ibrahim stated that the Crown Prince is an inspiring leader who encourages innovation and ongoing development of methods and strategies. 

The minister outlined the need to deal with sustainable development goals in an expanded perspective, reflecting the interdependence between countries, as well as the necessity to share and adopt experiences, prioritizing human capital.  

The time has come to take bold, transformative and cooperative steps, he said.
