The six-month pop-up will see the breezy, European-style restaurant pop up in the Eastern province from this month
Bringing its signature cool, cosmopolitan and laid-back vibe to the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, A.O.K. Kitchen Riyadh is launching a pop-up in the city of Khobar. Starting this month, the pop-up will run for six months, inviting locals to sample its all-inclusive Mediterranean-meets-Californian cuisine and enjoy a taste of the chic Riyadh eatery.
Located in Dhahran’s Aramco building, A.O.K. Kitchen Dhahran will be open to both Aramco employees and the public on a walk-in-only basis. The pop-up will bring the same look and feel of A.O.K. Kitchen Riyadh to the Saudi coastal city, with a greenery-filled garden setting and outdoor terrace – perfect for soaking up the cooler winter weather. The beautiful garden setting will reflect the Riyadh restaurant, with colourful florals, foliage and a stylish European feel.
Guests of the A.O.K. Kitchen pop-up will also be able to sample the restaurant’s renowned cuisine, known for its light and flavourful dishes free from refined sugar and consciously limited in dairy and gluten. In the Saudi capital, A.O.K. Kitchen is revered for its sumptuous breakfasts and all-day dining, inspired by the fresh, seasonal fare of the Mediterranean and California.
An acronym for ‘All is Okay’, A.O.K. Kitchen was born in London’s affluent Marylebone neighbourhood before opening in the Saudi capital’s vibrant KAFD in 2022 – a partnership with Saudi restaurateur Mohammed Jawa. The Khobar pop-up will offer the same all- inclusive, welcoming feeling as the Riyadh restaurant, with all dietary requirements catered for.
