The Ministry of Commerce approved the regulations of the Trade Names Law and the Commercial Register Law, according to Umm Al-Qura Official Gazette.
The ministry aims to regulate the procedures for registration in the commercial register and facilitate business operations.
The regulations stipulate that those registered in the commercial register will be given a five-year grace period to rectify the status of their subsidiary commercial records. All subsidiary records will be canceled at the end of this period according to a mechanism determined by the ministry.
